HI, I AM

ANDREW LLOYD

A Successful Data Analytics Practicioner

requires two components: Technical Aptitude and Business Acumen. I am of the few that excel at both. With 14+ years experience on both the Development and Analyst/Reporting sides, I am experienced taking a BI project from Inception to Actionable Insights. I love running a team, coding SQL, and creating dashboards. Helping organizations evolve from reactionary to proactive data-driven decision making is what drives me. I’m Andrew Lloyd and I have a passion for data.

What I Do

Data Analysis

From Data Prep to SQL to Tableau, I got you covered.

BI Development

What does it all mean? How can we use it? I'll help you build solutions.

Dashboarding

Condensing mountains of data down to a consumable format based on the intended audience is my bread and butter.

Insights

Charts and graphs are pretty but they are useless if you can't use them to drive actions.

Testimonials

I had the distinct pleasure of leading Andrew as part of a team of analysts, data scientists, web analysts and data architects at HD Supply. Without a doubt, Andrew was the strongest coder on the team consistently leveraging his expertise in SQL, VBA, and Tableau to complete complex analysis and reporting in a less than ideal data environment. Further, he has the capability to ingest complex requirements and navigate highly complex data in the pursuit of business answers. Coupling this expertise with his innate preference for mentoring people, Andrew was a critical part of advancing the team's skills and value. His mentor-ship lead directly to the advancement of one of his team mates who had no previous experience in SQL. His skills and accomplishments alone would be enough for someone to recommend him, but there is one other quality that shines through Andrew. He is absolutely dependable. I recommend Andrew with no reservations.

Andrew and I worked together at Ballard Designs and, as the "go-to" guy for business intelligence, he was a great asset to the organization. He supported many users with varying skill sets across all departments, and was always excited to help them solve their problems and improve their daily productivity. I think what makes Andrew unique is his mix of strong technical, analytic, and people skills, as well as his proactive approach to his job; if he sees room for improvement in any process, he will seek out the user to discuss, rather than waiting for them to approach him for help. Andrew would be a great addition to any organization.

Have you ever met a person who knows a little bit about EVERYTHING? Well, that's Andrew! He's super intelligent, highly analytical and because of his teacher's spirit, he is always willing to help others. Andrew is just an all around good guy. He will be an asset to any company.
